Buzzwords like blockchain or artificial intelligence applications have since become omnipresent. But can these new technologies really change the ways in which many industries work and approach problems?

For me, the healthcare industry is a prime example for one of the industries where digital solutions have a lot of potential. At this year’s NOAH conference in Berlin, I talked with Saskia Steinacker (Global Head Digital Excellence at Bayer) and Julie Teigland (EY Regional Managing Partner for Germany, Switzerland and Austria) about how new technologies and working with new partners can change healthcare – even to the point where, instead of treating illnesses, we might be able to prevent them.
